Breath, Fly, Be!

The first time some one asked me if am a human being or a human doing, I was very shocked.
I had never considered that. In most cases I had regarded myself and considered others more on what they did or had done, or what I had or did not have.
Could this define me as a human doing or a human having?

This concept may seem strange at first, but its a wake up call in the self discovery journey. When we explore this question, we are able to explore the love question;
What is the love I give or get based on?
- Am I loved based on what I do or have done? Do I love others based on what they have done, do or are doing? What about loving myself? Many times that person with a high rank or highly regarded profession like medicine, or politician, will be cared for more that when one is say a janitor.
- Is my love based on what I have? I am I loved or do I love based on what I own, how much wealth one is perceived to have? This is very common in our society, politicians will win election based on what people perceive them to have, even mothers attend to some children more than others for this reason. We also tend to love ourselves based on what we have, when we have and despise ourselves when we lack.
- OR is love based on whom I am or they are? Are there instances you have felt people loved you for whom you are? By now we know that unconditional love is nearly impossible, to the least, its expected in self love. If you love yourself for whom you are, then you are closer to unconditional self love.
When we decipher all the conditions that do not allow love to unconditionally flow to us and from us, we are lighter;
Fly
We can fly to the lands of our dreams, we can fly in our daily endeavors, we are light enough to find joy and bliss
Breathe
We can breath-in the fresh and out what does not serve us. We can release ourselves from our own internal prisons, that deny us the opportunity to tune-in, experience, express, admire and appreciate the I AM, the self. We are light enough to breath effortlessly, for the self and to the self.
Be
And YES! We are light enough to be ourselves. To become not to just do and have.
We are light enough to be kind to ourselves on the journey of being and of becoming
We are light enough to consider that being is a process, a journey and not a single achievement
We are light enough to have BEING and BECOMING goals and not just accumulation and
We are light enough to be Human beings!
